Celebrating her 12th season with Expressions in Rhythm Studio, Ms. Bee brings decades of experience, passion, and a vibrant energy to the studio.
A native of Queens, NY, Ms. Bee began dancing at the age of four at Gloria Jackson Dance Studio, where she trained in African, Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. She continued her studies while earning her degree from North Carolina Central University and began her teaching career at Adele's Creative Dance Centre in 1992. Ms. Bee has performed at New York City’s Theatre in the Park and appeared on Good Day New York and Spiritual Awakening.
In 1993, she expanded her training to include Liturgical dance and became Dance Ministry Leader at Merrick Park Baptist Church in 1995. After relocating to North Carolina in 2007, Ms. Bee led the Dance Ministry at Redeeming Love Missionary Baptist Church until 2022. Known for her vivacious personality and positive approach, she is dedicated to helping Expressers grow in skill, confidence, and joy.
Celebrating his 12th season with Expressions in Rhythm Studio, Mr. PJ is a passionate and dedicated expert in Djembe and West African music.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Mr. PJ began his training under Baba Bradley Simmons, former Music Director of the African American Dance Ensemble and current Musical Director at Duke University, where he teaches West African Music and History. Mr. PJ has performed at numerous community events, sharing his love of drumming and inspiring audiences with his skill and energy.
In his classes, Mr. PJ emphasizes technique, sound refinement, and an uplifting, unifying approach, helping Expressers connect with both the rhythms and cultural traditions of West African music. He is dedicated to empowering students to explore, learn, and celebrate the rich heritage behind every beat.
Born in Charleston, SC, Ms. Andria began dancing at a young age and has since trained in eight different styles, with a special passion for Tap and Hip Hop. Her versatility as a dancer allows her to connect with students of all levels and inspire them to explore both rhythm and creativity in their movement.
She is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology, which a testament to her dedication, discipline, and curiosity both inside and outside the studio.
At Expressions in Rhythm Studio, Ms. Andria is thrilled to continue sharing her love of dance with the next generation. She looks forward to fostering a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where dancers can grow in skill, confidence, and passion.
An alumna of East Carolina University, Ms. Holloway holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education along with a K–12 Teaching License. Her training and professional experience have equipped her not only with strong technical skills but also with the vision to make dance a meaningful and transformative experience for every student.
Ms. Holloway is deeply committed to cultivating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where dancers of all backgrounds and experience levels feel empowered to express themselves.
She is excited to help Expressers discover their artistic voices, embrace their creativity, and share their unique stories through the power of dance.
Raised in Clinton, NC, Ms. Shannon began dancing at just two years old and quickly discovered her lifelong love for movement and expression. She has trained extensively in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop, developing a versatile foundation that has shaped her career as both a performer and choreographer.
For more than 10 years, Ms. Shannon has inspired dancers across North Carolina with her creativity, energy, and dedication. Her talents also took her to Colorado, where she served as a Competition Team Director, leading dancers to grow both technically and artistically.
A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Ms. Shannon now teaches right here in Wake County, continuing her mission to uplift and encourage the next generation of artists.
This season, she is eager to share her love of dance with the Expressions in Rhythm Studio community, guiding her students to embrace confidence, artistry, and joy every time they step into the studio.
Originally from Bel Air, MD, Ms. Anne began dancing at the age of four and has been immersed in the art form ever since. Over the years, she trained extensively in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Pointe, developing both strong technical skills and a deep appreciation for the discipline and creativity of dance.
From 2020 through 2024, Ms. Anne shared her knowledge and artistry as a ballet instructor, guiding students with patience, precision, and joy. Alongside her dance career, she is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University of Alexandria, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Modern Biology, which an achievement that reflects her dedication, curiosity, and commitment to learning.
Now in her first season at Expressions in Rhythm Studio, Ms. Anne is thrilled to bring her expertise and enthusiasm to the community. She looks forward to nurturing her students’ confidence, encouraging their growth, and most importantly, sharing the pure joy of ballet with every dancer she teaches.
Celebrating her 12th season with Expressions in Rhythm Studio, Ms. Pat brings a lifetime of dedication to children, families, and the arts.
A native of Queens, NY, Pat founded Red Light Green Light Childcare Center, where she prepared countless toddlers and preschoolers for both social and academic success. During that time, she also volunteered with the New York City Department of Education and served as Children’s Choir Supervisor at Merrick Park Baptist Church, nurturing young voices and building confidence through music.
After relocating to North Carolina in 2010, Pat continued her commitment to children and the arts by volunteering with the Wake County Public School System. A proud former Dance Mom and now Dance Mimi (not grandma 😉), Pat cherishes every aspect of the performing arts world and continues to support Expressions in Rhythm Studio with the same passion, joy, and love she’s shared for over a decade.
Celebrating her second season with Expressions in Rhythm Studio, Laurin was born in northern New Jersey and raised in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Laurin began her dance journey at the age of two, studying Ballet and Tap for five years before turning her creative energy to piano, which she has passionately played for the past 30 years. She is also a proud mother of three sons, who are the absolute apples of her eye. Laurin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and uses her education to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
She is thrilled to be part of the Expressions in Rhythm Studio family and looks forward to collaborating closely with the EIR team while sharing her love of the arts and mentorship with the studio community.
Celebrating his fifth season with Expressions in Rhythm Studio, Brendan is a talented musician and dedicated leader, known for his kindness, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence.
A native of Queens, NY, Brendan began his music journey at age 11, playing violin in the orchestra. He earned the High School Directors Award for his exceptional performance and also spent two years at Expressions in Rhythm Studio, specializing in Djembe drumming. After graduating from Garner High School—where he again received the Directors Award—he continued his studies at Community Music School in Raleigh, NC, exploring classical piano, and later earned his bachelor’s degree in Music from North Carolina Central University.
As the studio’s health and safety coordinator, Brendan combines his musical talent with his leadership skills, creating a safe, fun, and inspiring environment for all Expressers. Students and families alike know him as a kind-hearted guide who motivates excellence in every aspect of studio life.

Celebrating her first season as a member of the EIR Studio Team, Brielle brings years of dedication, leadership, and passion for dance to the studio.
Born in Queens, NY, Brielle began her dance training at the age of four and spent 11 years at Expressions in Rhythm Studio, where she rose to become Captain of the EIR Dance Company, our award-winning competitive program. Her experience as a performer and leader has shaped her commitment to supporting and inspiring other dancers.
Now a student at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, majoring in Dance, Brielle is passionate about creating a welcoming and encouraging environment where all Expressers feel valued, accepted, and inspired to grow.
